A note to residents
THIS IS A COMMUNICATION TO COLLECT A DEBT. ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED WILL BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE.
Please be advised that Senex Law, PC is not your attorney. We cannot give you legal advice. To the extent that we communicate with you—whether in writing or orally—please understand that we are relying primarily on the information and/or documents provided to us by our clients, the property management company. Do not assume that we know anything about your circumstances.
Likewise, do not assume that we can ‘tell’ our clients to take (or withhold) any certain action or make any particular decision. Typically, our role is limited to communicating specific information to residents or the Courts, if they are involved. Generally, we do not make decisions on behalf of our clients.
Finally, please remember to look (and listen) carefully at the time period covered by any particular communication. Often, you will receive different documents or have different conversations that focus on monies owed for different time periods. For example, some communications will focus on a single month without consideration of any prior balances or any subsequent amounts that become due. At other times, a communication may focus on the entire balance due—as of the date and time at which the communication is made. Still other communications may focus on portions of the entire balance of your account. As such, it is critical that you understand what time period is discussed in each communication so that you will fully understand the matters in the communication.
I hope this has been helpful.
